In February 2025, a team of 11 cyclists from Northern Ireland, including Ian Dunn from Annahilt Parish will embark on a challenge across Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills! Aiming to cycle more than 350km on dirt and tarmac roads, with many hills along the route, the team are hoping that this challenge will have a lasting impact for some of the most vulnerable girls and boys and families in Rwanda.
Each team member is funding their own trip and giving up their own time to travel with Fields of Life to Rwanda to take on this cycle challenge and also visit Fields of Life partner schools.
Fields of Life seeks to transform the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in East Africa through the provision of quality education, clean water, health promotion and other enterprise and livelihoods projects. And to this end we are fundraising for some school development projects.
